Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Kasa Foundation runs Kasa Learning Academy for young learners, families, facilitators, and volunteers. We collect only what we need to run programmes well, and we treat information about young people with particular care.

What we collect

How we use it

Children and young learners

Where a learner is a minor, we ask for a parent or guardian contact and expect consent before participation. Learner work is visible to the facilitators and Kasa Foundation staff supporting that programme. We ask permission before featuring a young person’s name, photo, or story publicly.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the Academy work — hosting and database, email delivery, our Moodle learning environment, and anti-spam protection — and with programme partners where you have applied to a joint programme. We may also share information when required by law or to protect someone’s safety.

How long we keep it

We keep account and learning records while your account is active and for as long as needed to verify certificates and report on programme outcomes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated records at any time.

Your choices

Security

Access to learner records is limited to the facilitators and staff who need it, and admin tools require sign-in. No online service can promise perfect security, so please tell us straight away if you think an account has been misused.
